Description

This pretty scarf and blanket pattern (not shown) was designed by Claire Newberry especially for the Brother electronic knitting machine with a garter carriage & DesignaKnit software. Please note this is a PDF only download which cannot be exchanged or refunded once downloaded to you.
The pattern comes with all the instruction needed to make your own scarf or blanket. The pattern can be traced on to mylar sheet & knitted using a garter carriage or can be downloaded straight to the electronic knitting machine via DesignaKnit.
The design includes a file for a 200 stitch width blanket which would be ideal as a baby’s blanket or chair throw.
The yarn suitable for this design can be anything that your machine can knit & can be knitted any number of repeats in a length to suit. For best results use a smooth rounded yarn to show off the stitch textures well.

For this pattern you will need:
Brother electronic knitting machine with appropriate garter carriage
DesignaKnit 8 or 9 or blank mylar sheet with pen to trace the design.
Any yarn suitable for your machine

How this was made

The scarf in the images was knitted in 100% wool on a brother electronic knitting machine with garter carriage. The design was designed on DesignKnit 8, but a mylar 60 stitch repeat which can also be used for this pattern if you do not have a download cable. The pattern is modified for this.
