This versatile electric raku kiln was created by Olympic for artists who don’t have access to gas kilns and have limited amount of space but want to experience and practice the japanese tradition of Raku. Use the Olympic TopHat 2827 kiln for other oxidation bisque and glaze firings up to Cone 10, 2350 F.
Options for customization:
First, select the correct voltage for your kilns space – 208V or 240V. If you are unsure, please check with an electrician before placing your order. The TopHat 2827E also offers two options for your kiln controller — the Barlett 12-key electronic controller, or the Genesis Touchscreen controller. You may also opt to order your TopHat 2827E with the suggested furniture kit.
