Looking for the glass kiln that will make you a bigger star? Olympic’s Champ XL is perfect for bigger pieces that win every time! The Champ XL has a lid element for fusing and slumping and a tall 18″ stand for easy access. The Champ XL is a winner for fusing and forming of glass shapes, precious metal clay and heat-treating and its square design provides the space for larger pieces on 120 volts.
Model comes with tall stand, peephole plug, lid wedge, instruction manual, and warranty card. Two-year warranty.
Options for customization:
First, choose which controller best suits your needs. The Olympic Champ XL comes standard with a KilnStar 3-key controller. With this controller you can fire your kiln with the touch of a button – data is entered by simply scrolling through to set the desired cone fire, or fire in ramp/hold mode. You will be amazed at the flexibility this simple digital controller offers. However, if you are focused on dialing in your glaze programs, or would like to have maximum control and program storage options, you may want to consider adding a 12-key KilnStar controller or the new Genesis touch-screen controller. The Champ XL is also highly customizable and you can choose to add a bead door or viewing window. The Champ XL can also be ordered with a furniture kit.
