Needle-felting is a fun and mess-free craft for teens and adults. The best thing is, you don’t need any fancy equipment! A cosy armchair, some snacks and a soft surface to work on is all you need.

To start, you simply take a bunch of wool fibres and poke them with a needle all over until the wool knits together. This quickly forms 3D shapes. In no time at all, you can turn those shapes into a tiny needle felted animals and characters. It’s much easier than you might think.

The finished hedgehog is a brilliant pocket buddy and cheers you up with a single squeeze. Give him to someone you love, especially if they struggle with anxiety or need cheering up.

What’s included in the price?

Inside the kit, you will find everything you need to make your DIY felt hedgehog. The entire product has been designed and hand made by us here in our studio in Hertfordshire, England. We have sourced a selection of high-quality, cruelty-free wool fibres, which felt together beautifully. A combination of super fine merino and English top roving the fluffy part of the fleece.

There is also a special 40-gauge felting needle inside the kit. We have carefully designed this pattern so that it’s super easy to master!

The kit makes a brilliant gift for anyone crafty or for hedgehog lovers everywhere! It comes in a postable display box and includes full step-by-step photographic instructions to walk you through the project. Plus a beginner’s guide to needle-felting techniques.

What you will need

Theres no fancy equipment required for this craft. All you need to get started is a comfy place to sit and a soft surface to work on. A large sponge is perfect.

A little note: Your needle felting needle is very sharp and brittle so its a good idea to store it in the kit box. Please keep it out of the reach of children.
