The Malachite 9310 glaze from Botz Pro is a striking green colour with lush earthy hues, a semi-transparent glassy finish. Create stunning pottery pieces with this amazing Botz Pro glaze, the brush-on glaze is suitable for your pottery needs. Stoneware, earthenware, and tableware Botz recommend (from 1200C) in high firing for tableware, clays are almost always sintered and hence the dishes are suitable for food, so therefore the glaze can be applied to your tableware without any worries.Extremely easy to use in a broad firing range from 1020C to 1280C (cone 05-04 to cone 8-9)
At 1050C the glaze is very colourful and almost opaque. Apply 2-3 glazing coats.
At 1150C the glaze is vibrant in colour with a semi-transparent surface. Apply 2 glazing coats.
At 1250C the glaze is glassy, semi-transparent with intensive pastel shades, which is fabulous on porcelain clay. Apply 2 glazing coats.
Good to know:
Works in combination with underglaze colours.
Colours can be mixed to create a unique palette.
Will flow more at a higher temperature.
Suitable for Earthenware, Stoneware, Porcelain
Suitable for Raku Kilns
Tends to run when applied thickly from 1150C.
